Local Peeps! We are hosting "Coffee with a Cop" Thursday night starting at 6:00 pm. The purpose is to bring together police officers and community members to discuss issues and learn more about each other. The Harding Chief of Police will be here along with other officers. We will have free ice cream for kids (after their meal)

It will be held Saturday, March 2nd from 9 am-3 pm, with lunch to follow. The previous class was a hit and sold-out quickly. It will be "hands on" and you get to eat what you smoked. He will cover the history and regions of barbecue along with the selection, preparation, cooking and eating of the four major barbecue meats: pork shoulder, pork ribs, beef brisket, and chicken. Scott will also discuss different types of smokers and barbecue technology. The price is $125 for the class and includes lunch ($25 for extra lunch guests) Email us at [email protected] to reserve a spot. Two spaces left in Scott's first BBQ class at the Minuteman. It will be held on Saturday, January 26th from 12:30 pm - 6:00 pm. This is a hands-on class. We will cover the selection, preparation, cooking, serving and eating of the four major barbecue meats: pork shoulder, pork ribs, brisket and chicken. We will also discuss the different types of smokers and other barbecue technologies. Dinner of the smoked meats from the class will be served around 6 pm. There will be an opportunity to invite friends and family to the 6 pm dinner in the private back room for $25. The cost of the class will be $125.00 and the participant's dinner will be included in the price of the class.

"5.0 star rating 7/18/2018 To say that Minuteman is the finest BBQ I have ever had in New Jersey does not do it justice. I am from Texas, I eat BBQ without sauce, and I LOVED this place. The brisket and ribs were tastier than what I get in many of my favorite places in Texas, and the cornbread was extraordinarily good! There we were in Morristown, NJ, having just visited an old headquarters of General George Washington, and dinnertime was upon us. When someone mentioned this BBQ restaurant to my wife, I was skeptical that it would measure up, but we were hungry. When we arrived, I was taken aback--these NJ people had the audacity to list "Texas Brisket" on the menu. What a delicious surprise was in store. In addition to the superior food and customer service, Marti walked through and chatted with us and other diners. She is a gem, and half of the husband-wife team of owners. The other half, Scott, was away competing in a BBQ competition. If he produced anything like my dinner, he surely won. Great BBQ, great people. Next time I travel to NY or NJ, I will make a side-trip to Morristown just for this."
